Chloë Nols

Brussels-based musician Chloë Nols has always moved between dreamy intimacy and smouldering intensity, in search of her own voice.

Leonore

Chloë first gained recognition with Leonore (2015–2020), a project that balanced dream pop and dream folk, supported by warm arrangements and melodies that were both fragile and empowered.

Her debut album Phoenix (2015) and second record Sub Rosa (2018) — produced and mixed by Hannelore Bedert, Thomas Vanelslander (Gorki, Arno), Filip Tanghe (Balthazar) and Tim Augustynen (Black Box Revelation, Steak Number Eight) — were warmly received in national newspapers, with singles The Island (Radio 1) and Brussels (La Première) receiving national airplay. “A stunning Belgian debut,” De Morgen wrote. She also received praise from Focus Knack, OOR, RTBF Culture, Moustique and Le Soir.

After a release show at Ancienne Belgique, Leonore played concerts at venues including Botanique, De Vooruit, De Roma, Trix, STUK, Het Depot, MEZZ, Rotown, Muziekgieterij, as well as festivals like Gentse Feesten, Boomtown, Brussels Summer Festival, Stoemp!, Zinnema, VOLTA, AFF, Labadoux and Beautés Soniques.

The live band included Kobe Dupont (Geppetto & The Whales), Tim Caramin (Glints), Lenny Steigerwald (Aligaga) and Louise van den Heuvel.

Vis à Vis

With Vis à Vis (2020–2022), Chloë explored a more personal and adventurous sound. Inspired by the lockdowns, with periods of isolation and an increasing sensitivity, she developed, together with Thomas Jillings (Ottla, Linus, Stijn Cools), a new musical universe where analog synths, saxophone and electronic rhythms intertwined.

Singles such as CassandraBlack Panther and Ocean were played on Radio 1, La Première and Spain’s Radio 3. French DJ Fakear remixed Cassandra. The EP Blue Whale was presented at Botanique and showcased Chloë’s love for cinematic textures and healing vocals even more.

Looking for new collaborations

After a longer period away from the spotlights — a time during which Chloë experienced an inner transformation — her artistic voice has become clearer and she continues to develop music where vulnerability meets sonic depth.

Chloë is looking for composers, producers and musicians to collaborate with.

Her music is a home for listeners who appreciate Cat Power, Agnes Obel, Aurora, James Blake, London Grammar, and others.
